"Since this is the kind of life we have
chosen, the life of the Spirit, let us make sure that we do not just hold it as
an idea in our heads or a sentiment in our hearts, but work out its
implications in every detail of our lives. That means we will not compare
ourselves with each other as if one of us were better and another worse. We
have far more interesting things to do with our lives. Each of us is an
original.”Galatians 5:25-26 MSG

Religion sets its focus on theological accuracy while heaven is focused on
relational integrity. The first places emphasis on how one speaks while the
other on how one lives. Life in the Spirit is not gained or maintained on a
comparative basis. It is never about how things look but always about how they
are. Jesus says, 'follow me and I will make you…'

It's not that accuracy is unimportant it is just not most important. Spirit
life is primarily relational not informational. It is not driven by theological
conclusions or comparisons but rather led and sustained by a person. “You study the Scriptures diligently because you think
that in them you have eternal life. These are the very Scriptures that testify
about me, yet you refuse to come to me to have life.” John
5:39-40 NIV I'll keep following
Jesus and let him do the making unto the life that is really life!

Dear and Almighty Father,
Thank you for sending Jesus to clarify your
person and your purposes. He is resurrection life. I will follow and welcome
his "making" unto all you've intended before the world was. I want to
live out loud and grow up into his irrepressible life and love. I do love you
back.
Steve
